Leaked! Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 villain art appears online

 


Marvel’s Sipder-Man 3 is one of PlayStation’s biggest bets for the coming years. After the enormous success of the first titles in the franchise developed by Insomniac Games, many people are looking forward to what is to come in the saga. And, apparently, concept art of the title's main antagonist “fell online”.

The content is still the result of the hacker attack suffered by Insomniac last year, and appears in a supposed presentation slide for the game. In it, the company explains that “the best-selling superhero game in history continues in Marvel’s Spider-Man 3, with an explosive confrontation with a villain whose history has traces in all three games”.

PS2 sold 160 million units

 The PlayStation 2 is to date Sony's biggest success and the best-selling console of all time. In the last official update we had from the company, it was stated that the hardware had passed the 155 million units sold mark. Now, during the newest episode of the Official PlayStation Podcast, which featured a special appearance from Jim Ryan himself, we have new data. During the program, the former head of PlayStation updated the numbers, stating that the console reached 160 million units sold. The number of 155 million was from March 2012, with the console having stopped being manufactured in January 2013. There may possibly no longer be a significant sales update, considering the lack of hardware availability. Embracer sold Gearbox for $460 million to Take-Two

  After a failed $2 billion negotiation, Embracer Group has been slowly closing or selling its studios. After selling Saber Interactive for $247 million, now it's Gearbox Entertainment's turn. The studio known for the Borderlands franchise was officially separated from Embracer and sold for $460 million to Take-Two, which previously served as the publisher of the Borderlands IP. With this sale, Embracer expects it will help significantly reduce its current net debt. Despite the acquisition, some of Gearbox's previously owned branches and franchises will remain with Embracer.
