Helldivers 2 considerably increases server capacity

The weekend of Helldivers 2 promises “more bearable waiting times.” The Arrowhead released an update this Friday (23) that considerably increases the capacity of the servers, in addition to fixing bugs on the PS5 and PC.

The limit of 450 thousand simultaneous players has been increased to 700 thousand, which should reduce waiting times. Still, director Johan Pilestedt warns that “unfortunately, our expectation is that this number will be reached” (via PC Gamer and Eurogamer).

“We’ve updated the maximum concurrent players to 700,000,” Pilestedt wrote on Twitter. “Unfortunately, our expectation is that this number will be reached. But we believe that waiting times will be much more bearable.”

The director promises that more improvements are on the way to the game and should be added this Saturday (24) to guarantee a calmer weekend of gaming.

The notes present on Steam reveal that, in addition to increasing the server limit, this Friday's update (23) resolves errors such as the code "10003001", reported to affect some PlayStation players on the login screen.
